In the fast pace of the twenty-first century, opportunities are available only to those who are armed with a balanced combination of knowledge, ethics, and culture. The more a person acquires from these, the stronger they become in facing challenges and ascending the ladder of success with ease, balance, and speed. For this reason, from day one, our focus has been on providing Egypt with graduates who possess a high level of specialized knowledge, while also developing creative skills, shaping behavior through good role models, and adding cultural enrichment in a way that keeps students always eager to seek more knowledge, culture, and self-improvement.
My dear students,
The mission of the Shorouk International Higher Institute of Media has always been, and will continue to be, focused on enhancing and developing the educational process in line with the Fourth Digital Revolution and updating curricula to achieve this goal.
To this end, the institute prioritizes graduating distinguished and competent media professionals, equipped with the knowledge and skills they have acquired. The institute has achieved a leading position among Egyptian media institutes thanks to its integrated administrative system, which includes faculty members, their assistants, and all administrative staff executing academic plans, ensuring the institute maintains its prestige and leadership.
Major General Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahim
My dear students,
Dear students, faculty members, administrative staff, and esteemed members of our academic community,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Shorouk Academy, which this year celebrates thirty years since its establishment — thirty years of dedication and excellence, during which we have strived to be at the forefront of educational institutions in Egypt and to achieve leadership in quality education.
This cherished anniversary is not only an occasion for celebration but also an opportunity to reflect on our journey, envision our future, and renew our commitment to continue diligent and sincere work, aiming to build a generation capable of facing the challenges of our era and contributing effectively to the development of our beloved country.
Today, we live in an era of rapid changes and unprecedented technological advancements, especially in artificial intelligence, which has become an integral part of our lives and presents both challenges and new opportunities in the field of education.
Therefore, at the distinguished Shorouk Academy, with its three institutes, we believe that education is not merely about imparting information but is a comprehensive process aimed at developing students’ abilities, equipping them with the necessary skills for continuous learning, and preparing them to meet the challenges of the future.
We believe that the student is the core of the educational process, and our primary mission is to empower them to acquire the knowledge and skills that enable them to achieve their ambitions and contribute to building their society and country.
To achieve this, we continuously develop our curricula to be more flexible and interactive, incorporating the latest educational technologies, including artificial intelligence. We also strive to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical and creative thinking, and fosters self-learning and teamwork skills.
Scientific research is the cornerstone of progress and development and is the optimal way to address the challenges facing our society. Therefore, we place great emphasis on advancing research at the academy and providing necessary support to researchers and students to conduct innovative studies that help solve societal challenges.
We believe that the academy is not merely an educational institution but an integral part of society, responsible for contributing to its development and advancement. Accordingly, we work to strengthen collaboration with various community institutions and provide services and consultations that meet societal needs.
We look forward to a bright future for Shorouk Academy, a future where the academy continues its leadership in higher education, remains a beacon of knowledge, and inspires future generations.
Professor Dr. Mohamed Ali Mahmoud Showman
