The Institute’s Scientific Library aims to provide various library services that facilitate access for students, faculty members, teaching assistants, staff, and trainees to its holdings, as well as to support research within the Institute and culturally cooperate with academic and scientific institutions in their respective fields. The library follows the regulations of public libraries.
Final decisions on the purchase of books and journals are issued by the library committee after collecting suggestions from the different departments of the Institute, ensuring a balance between various subjects, and approved by the Dean of the Institute.
All procedures, workflows, internal and external borrowing, provision of books, journals, CDs, definitions, and terminologies follow the ISO 9001-2008 global quality standards applicable to the library, with any future updates integrated accordingly.
The library maintains all necessary records to organize its operations in every aspect, both on paper and electronically.
