Admission and Applications

  1. Admission procedure (first year) for Egyptian students
    • Egyptian students who have recently completed high school apply via the University & Institutes Admission Office website.
    • Through the Coordination Office (Egyptian Government Portal) according to the score range assigned.
    • Using the secret number provided on the original high school certificate.
    • The student registers preferences in the specified period according to their score range.
    • Admission results are announced on the same website.
    • The student checks the result and prints the nomination card.
  2. Admission procedure for Egyptian students with Arab or foreign certificates
    • Visit the Equivalency Certificates Coordination Office to complete registration.
  3. Admission procedure (first year) for non-Egyptian (international) students
    • Non-Egyptian students with high school or equivalent certificates apply through the Office for Admission and Scholarships for International Students.
    • After nomination, the student receives an official nomination letter from the office. Registration and fee payment are completed according to regulations (EGP or GBP).
  • Printed nomination card from the online coordination website.
  • Original high school certificate.
  • Original birth certificate.
  • 6 personal photos (4x6) with full name on the back.
  • Form 2 for male students.
  • If the student is 19 or older, provide military card (Form 6) from the local office.
  • Pay 65% of tuition fees for the first semester upon completing registration.
  • The student visits the Student Affairs Office to complete registration.
  • The officer verifies the nomination card on the Coordination Office website.
  • Verify original high school certificate and matching grades and subjects with the nomination card.
  • The officer records detailed student information in the institute system, assigns a student ID, and issues a payment receipt for tuition fees. Bus fees may be paid separately if required.
  • The student undergoes a medical check-up; the Student Affairs Office then collects and files the student documents and issues the student ID card.
1. Transfer from non-equivalent colleges or institutes
  • Official transcript from previous institution showing student enrollment for 2024/2025 and eligibility for 2025/2026.
  • Copy of high school certificate.
  • Copy of national ID.
  • 6 recent personal photos.
  • Forms 6 and 2 for male Egyptian students.

Note: After Ministry of Higher Education approval, the student receives notification to collect the file from the previous institution.

2. Transfer from equivalent colleges or institutes
  • Official transcript with grades from previous institution.
  • Copy of studied courses and credit hours.
  • Copy of high school certificate.
  • 6 recent personal photos.
  • Payment of equivalency fees at the institute.
  • Forms 6 and 2 for male Egyptian students + copy of national ID.

Note 1: Student receives a copy of the final equivalency decision at the start of the academic year.

Note 2: Student receives a letter to collect the file from the previous institution at the start of the academic year.

  • The student visits the Student Affairs officer to verify all data (name, grades, nationality, qualifying subjects).
  • The officer checks the student meets the minimum admission requirements according to the coordination system and ministry regulations.
  • The student completes the transfer application.
  • The officer issues a payment receipt for transfer fees; student pays the amount.
  • The Ministry approves the transfer files and notifies the institute.
  • After Ministry approval, the student pays tuition fees, brings the file from the previous institution, and undergoes medical examination.
  • Upon completion, the student ID is issued immediately.
  • Documents listed below are approved by the Ministry of Higher Education within 7 working days:
  • National ID
  • Public transport subscription
  • Travel permits for male students (not issued for fourth-year students in the second semester)
  • Various enrollment certificates
