Department Head’s Message

Studying in the Department of Radio and Television offers students the enjoyment of practical training in the arts of program and media production. Students acquire skills in television filming (both indoor and outdoor) using the latest types of cameras, as well as dramatic and program directing. They also learn presentation techniques, radio and news announcing, and skills in editing radio and television programs. In addition, students receive continuous training on the Al-Shorouk Radio and Al-Shorouk TV platforms. Students in the Radio and Television Department produce various program formats according to the department’s academic regulations. They also receive training at the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU), the Media Production City, the Cinemedia Foundation for Media Training, and the Media Syndicate, based on official protocols signed at the institute.

The department aspires to achieve practical and academic excellence by preparing its students through intensive training on the Al-Shorouk Online Radio and Al-Shorouk Online Television platforms.

The practical and academic media qualification of distinguished media professionals, whether in traditional or modern media, to keep pace with the needs of the job market, and to provide continuous training opportunities both inside and outside the institute.
