The Public Relations and Advertising specialization is considered one of the in-demand fields, particularly due to its prominent role in providing future turning points for companies and organizations. These turning points are among the most important drivers of transformation, such as public relations campaigns aimed at successfully reaching the target market, obtaining accurate information useful for the organization, and managing consultancy operations at multiple levels, including public policies and other matters that have become essential for every company.
The Public Relations and Advertising specialization is responsible for supplying the local, regional, and international markets with advanced expertise capable of managing public relations departments, designing and producing advertisements with great skill and high professionalism, relying on the latest digital communication tools and strategies in designing and implementing public relations programs and advertising production.
The department offers a distinguished and advanced academic program in the field of specialization, reflecting ongoing academic and professional developments in public relations. This program prepares graduates to work in public relations and government or institutional communication departments across various organizations: service, production, governmental, and private.
The department always seeks to continuously update the academic program to keep pace with developments at the knowledge and skill levels of the Public Relations specialization. It focuses on contemporary topics such as building corporate reputation and brand image, strategic management of relationships with organizational audiences, crisis communication, production of institutional communication and media materials, planning and implementing integrated communication campaigns and programs, and dealing with media outlets.
The department provides a scientific environment that enables students to acquire technical and communication knowledge and skills, qualifying them to compete and excel in the job market through teaching methods based on participation and interaction, and employing modern technology and applications in learning. The department has developed its curriculum to include modern and advanced courses covering all fields of Public Relations and Advertising work after graduation.
