BRICS International Student Film Festival Welcomes Media Students’ Works in New Global Achievement
In a new achievement added to its record of success and excellence, several distinguished student productions from the Radio and Television Department have been officially selected and will be screened at the BRICS International Student Film Festival, held in Cairo from May 10 to 14, 2026, featuring a wide range of student films from various countries around the world. This accomplishment crowns the students’ continuous efforts and creativity in producing media and cinematic content that reflects a professional standard and a contemporary artistic vision, enabling them to compete internationally among elite student productions worldwide. Prof. Dr. Fatma Shaban, Head of the Radio and Television Department, expressed her pride in this achievement, emphasizing her continuous commitment to supporting young talents and providing a learning environment that fosters innovation and creativity, contributing to preparing media professionals capable of competing both locally and globally. The selected works are scheduled to be screened as part of the festival program, offering students the opportunity to engage with an international audience and specialized jury panels in an enriching experience that enhances their artistic and professional journey, and reflects the growing prominence of the department’s students in the media and film scene
