Third-year students in the Journalism Department at El Shorouk Academy discussed their practical training projects, presenting a variety of innovative ideas.
Third-year students in the Multimedia Journalism Department at the International Higher Institute of Media, El Shorouk Academy, discussed their “Practical Training 2” course projects today, Wednesday, as part of an academic evaluation process aimed at developing their professional skills in journalism and media production. The discussions featured the presentation of several projects addressing diverse cultural and social issues, including the “Right of Access” project, “Al-Fakhar: A Heritage Resisting Extinction,” as well as projects focusing on topics such as online blackmail, fine arts, and the Royal Jewelry Museum. This diversity reflected the variety of themes, editorial approaches, and production techniques employed by the students. The session took place in an academic setting with active engagement and discussion of the students’ ideas and projects. The evaluation committee included Dr. Ramy Atta Sedik, Head of the Multimedia Journalism Department, and journalist Ayat El Habal from Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper. The organization and follow-up of the discussions were handled by Nermine Naguib, Assistant Lecturer in the Journalism Department, and Mohamed Wael. The students presented their ideas and media content and received academic and professional feedback aimed at improving performance and enhancing the quality of both editorial and production output. The committee praised the standard of the projects, emphasizing the importance of continuing to develop ideas and produce media content that reflects students’ skills and creative capabilities.
