Signing of a Cooperation Protocol Between El Shorouk Academy Media Institute and Rose Al-Youssef Foundation on the Sidelines of the Fifth Employment Forum
The International Higher Institute of Media at El Shorouk Academy witnessed the signing of a joint cooperation protocol with Rose Al-Youssef Foundation on the sidelines of the Fifth Employment Forum, in a step aimed at strengthening integration between academic and media institutions. The cooperation protocol was signed by Dr. Sohair Saleh Ibrahim, Dean of the International Higher Institute of Media, and Heba El Sadeq, Chairwoman of Rose Al-Youssef Foundation, in the presence of Major General Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahim, Chairman of El Shorouk Academy; Dr. Mohamed Shoman, Vice Chairman of the Academy; Dr. Elham Younes, Vice Dean of the Institute; journalist Ahmed Embaby, Editor-in-Chief of Rose Al-Youssef Magazine and Portal; and Dr. Ramy Atta Sedik, Head of the Journalism Department. The protocol includes strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, training, and professional development, providing students with practical opportunities within the prestigious media المؤسسة while contributing to the enhancement of their skills in line with the requirements of the modern media labor market. Following the signing ceremony, Major General Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahim and Dr. Mohamed Shoman presented the academy’s shield to Rose Al-Youssef Foundation in recognition of its historical and influential role in supporting Egyptian journalism. The protocol aims to support the educational and training process for institute students by providing field training opportunities within media institutions, in addition to exchanging professional expertise and organizing specialized workshops that contribute to enhancing students’ competencies and preparing them for the labor market. The cooperation also includes implementing joint projects in the fields of media and journalistic production, allowing students direct exposure to real working environments and enabling them to acquire practical skills aligned with modern developments in the media industry.
