Radio and Television Students at Shorouk Media on a Training Visit to CBC Sofra Channel The Radio and Television Department at the Higher International Institute of Media at Shorouk Academy organized a training visit for students enrolled in the practical training course to CBC Sofra Channel, aiming to enhance their field experience and connect the academic aspect with professional practices within television production environments. During the visit, the students observed behind-the-scenes of the program hosted by media personality Murad Makram, and closely learned about the preparation and execution stages inside the studio, starting from segment preparation, through managing the filming process, to following the operational mechanisms inside the control room. The visit was supervised by Aziza Abu Bakr, the program’s editor-in-chief, who provided a detailed explanation of the nature of work inside the channel and answered students’ inquiries related to television production mechanisms. The visit was part of the practical training course activities under the supervision of Dr. Fatma Shaaban, the department head, with the participation of the department's assistant faculty members, aiming to raise students’ competencies and qualify them to work in the fields of radio, television, and program production.
